The exciting re-development of the Port Canal Shopping Centre has commenced which will provide our community with a better shopping experience.
The $45 million construction project makes it the most significant retail development of its kind in the local area in 40 years. Not only will this construction create almost 300 jobs, it will provide our community with a better shopping experience and significant prosperity to the iconic suburb of Port Adelaide.
The Centre, which will be rebranded as Port Adelaide Plaza will be rebuilt and extended to include approximately 50 specialty retailers, cafes, restuarants, commercial premises and a childcare centre. In a first for the region Aldi will open alongside existing retailers Coles, Kmart, Liquorland and Kmart Tyre and Auto.
